Mining guide
How the pool actually works: what your hashrate earns, what comes off it, and when coins reach your wallet. The minimums, the payout interval and the address freeze on this page are read from the running pool when the page loads, so they cannot drift from what the payout engine does. Since 15 October 2026 the pool is open to every miner: no identity check, no tiers, no caps and no new vesting.
What you earn
Every hash your machines produce works on three networks at once. That is merged mining. There are no settings to change, no switching between coins, and no extra power draw. The same Scrypt work that mines Litecoin also validates Dogecoin and Soqucoin.
| Coin | What it is |
|---|---|
| LTC | Litecoin, from the global Scrypt network |
| DOGE | Dogecoin, merge-mined with Litecoin |
| SOQ | Soqucoin, the post-quantum network this pool secures |
Your share of each coin follows your share of the pool's work. The pool uses PPLNS accounting (pay per last N shares): each block's reward is divided by the shares each miner contributed in the window before that block was found. It rewards steady mining. Keep your machines on and your credit tracks your hashrate.
The fee
One flat rate across all three chains: the pool takes 1.69% off every block. Founding accounts, those created before the mainnet launch time of October 13, 2026 at 15:00 UTC, get 0.19% back as a rebate, so they pay 1.50% for life. There are no fee tiers, no share multipliers and no volume discounts. Nothing about your scale changes your fee.
The fee comes off the block reward first. Everything after that works from the remainder. This matters when you check your own arithmetic: a 100,000 SOQ block pays out 98,310 SOQ to miners after the 1.69% fee, and a founding account's rebate is credited on top of its share.
SOQ vesting before 15 October 2026
SOQ earned on SOQUPOOL no longer vests. Until 15 October 2026 the pool held back part of each large SOQ credit and released it over the following 30 days, to spread the arrival of coins while the market formed. On that date the pool opened to every miner and the rule was retired: since then every SOQ you earn is credited in full and paid with your regular payouts.
If you hold grants from before
A vesting grant issued before 15 October 2026 keeps the schedule it was issued with. A standard grant releases evenly over the 30 days from its block, the same amount each day, credited to your spendable balance by a job that runs every hour and paid with your regular payouts as it releases. Nothing committed changes, nothing is withheld and the total is identical. The earnings card in your console shows what is still locked and when it releases.
If you stop mining, the grants you already hold keep releasing on their existing schedule until they are done.
A worked example
This is the calculation most people want, done end to end. Adjust the two inputs for your own situation. The figures are illustrative and assume the 1.69% fee.
Inputs: the pool is running 2.5 TH/s and you contribute 90 GH/s, so you hold 3.6% of the pool. Soqucoin pays 100,000 SOQ per block at one block per minute, which is 1,440 blocks and 144,000,000 SOQ per day across the whole pool.
| Step | Amount |
|---|---|
| Block reward | 100,000 SOQ |
| Less pool fee at 1.69% | 98,310 SOQ |
| Your 3.6% of that block | 3,539 SOQ |
| Per day, at 1,440 blocks | about 5.10M SOQ |
All of it is spendable when it is paid. Your LTC and DOGE from the same work follow the same arithmetic on their own block rewards and pay on the normal schedule.
When coins arrive
| Step | How long | What is happening |
|---|---|---|
| Block matures | about 4 hours on LTC and DOGE, just under 5 hours on SOQ | A blockchain rule on every freshly mined block, on every pool and every coin |
| Credit lands | at the next payout cycle after maturity: 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 or 20:00 UTC | The pool credits matured blocks only inside the payout cycle, and your share of the block appears in your balance then |
| Payout runs | every 4 hours, at 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 20:00 UTC | Balances at or above the minimum are sent to your addresses, batched into one transaction per coin |
| Below the minimum | rolls forward | Minimums are 0.01 LTC, 10 DOGE and 100,000 SOQ. Smaller balances wait for the next run and nothing is lost |
What a payment status means
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Queued in a payout run and being broadcast. The console shows an estimated arrival |
| Confirmed | Accepted by the network. The transaction id links to a block explorer where you can watch it confirm |
| Failed | The send did not go through. Your balance is restored automatically within minutes and paid in a later run |
| Quarantined | The network gave an ambiguous answer, so an operator verifies it on chain before anything else happens. It is being checked, not lost |
If a block the pool found is later orphaned or a payout transaction is evicted, the affected balances are reversed and re-queued automatically. No payment is marked settled until it is confirmed on chain.
Limits
None. Since 15 October 2026 SOQUPOOL has no tiers: no machine limit, no hashrate ceiling, no cap on earnings and, for every account created since, no waiting period before a first payout. An account the operators placed on founding terms keeps its agreed first-payout wait, and the console's Earnings page says so. Connect as many machines as you run. The machine count asked at sign-up is for capacity planning; above 20 machines we ask for your business name so we can plan with you, and nothing is reviewed or approved.
The pool launched with tiers, per-account hashrate ceilings and a per-identity emission cap to keep early distribution accountable. They were removed on 15 October 2026 to put as much hashrate behind the chain as fast as possible: the chain's security is its hashrate.
Identity verification
Not required. Since 15 October 2026 no account on SOQUPOOL needs an identity check or an operator's approval: an account mines as soon as it exists. What stays is the sanctions attestation at sign-up, the sanctions screening of payout addresses and the embargoed-jurisdiction rule. The pool never asks for your wallet keys at any point in this process, or any other.
Account safety
- Changing a payout address freezes payouts to it for 48 hours. This is deliberate. If someone takes over your login and swaps your addresses, the freeze gives you two days to notice before any coin moves. Plan address changes ahead of a payout run.
- Your stratum credential is a password for your rigs. If you think it has leaked, rotate it in the console and update your machines.
- Check the Sessions page occasionally and revoke anything you do not recognise.
- The pool never asks for wallet keys and never holds them. Payouts go only to addresses you control.
- Money-moving actions on the pool side require two administrators. No single person can redirect funds.
Watcher links give someone read-only sight of your hashrate and worker status with no login. You set the expiry, from 1 to 365 days, and you can pause or revoke a link at any time. They never show balances or payment history. Use them for a monitoring screen, a co-owner or a hosting facility.
If something looks wrong
| Symptom | Usual cause |
|---|---|
| A worker shows offline | Check the Status page first. If the pool reads Operational with no notice, the cause is almost always the machine or your network. Check the rig interface and its failover log, then the stratum settings |
| A worker came back on a different server | Normal after maintenance. Firmware fails over quickly but returns to Pool 1 slowly, or only after a reboot. The Workers page shows which server each rig is on |
| Credited but no payout yet | Below the minimum, inside the 4-hour cycle, inside the 48-hour address freeze, or a grant from before 15 October 2026 still releasing. The Earnings and Payments pages show which one applies |
| A payout shows but the coins are missing | Check the transaction id on a block explorer first. If the chain shows it and your wallet does not, the problem is wallet-side |
| Anything else | Write to mining@soqu.org with your miner name and rig names. Never put your password or stratum credential in an email |
The figures on this page describe the pool's current configuration. Material changes are announced on the status page events feed and by email where you have notifications enabled. The structure described here is settled.
